Confined Space Course

This RIIWHS202E Enter & work in a confined space incorporating MSMWHS217 Gas Test Atmospheres – eLearning course provides you with the necessary theoretical knowledge and associated theory assessment that you will need to successfully progress to demonstrate the practical performance evidence required to complete the training.

FULL TRAINING

If you are completing this course for the first time as an individual, you must book a face-to-face practical at one of our training centres. You can only book your practical component for a date after the successful completion of the e-learn component.

For employers and larger workgroups with employees completing this course for the first time, you can book a face-to-face practical to be completed at your workplace. This is designed to minimise face to face training time and provide flexibility on when your employees can undertake the theory component and then undertake the practical component onsite.

REFRESHER TRAINING

If would like to complete this course as a refresher, you must hold and supply a current Statement of Attainment. You will complete the e-learn theory component and then complete several performance evidence documents that we will email to you for completion. These will include:

ELEMENTS COVERED:

· Plan and prepare for working in a confined space

· Prepare for atmospheric testing

· Test and monitor atmosphere

· Work in a confined space

· Exit confined space

· Maintain equipment & clean up

Please call (07) 4944 1112 or email admin@sharp5.com.au to arrange a suitable time to book your face-to-face practical assessment or discuss refresher assessment requirements.

Before commencement of each course, the trainer will assess participants language, literacy and numeracy levels.  This will help trainers identify learners who need assistance and support and at the same time the suitability and appropriateness to enrol and complete a course.
