Induction Courses

CPCWHS1001 Prepare To Work Safely in the Construction Industry induction course is mandatory within the building and construction industry.

This Standard 11 unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to escape from hazardous situations. This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles in Coal and Metalliferous mining. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for RIIERR203E Escape from hazardous situations unaided (underground only).

The purpose of this program is to introduce new and existing mine workers to the recognised Standard 11 Mining Induction requirements.

The Standard 11 Surface and Underground refresher program is delivered by experienced facilitators via interactive scenarios and group-based activities. The group-based scenarios will give participants a realistic insight into the requirements for working within the Queensland Coal Mining Industry.

This is an industry-accepted Standard 11 Surface Program course. It is specifically designed to cater to the Coal Mining Industry. All newcomers with little experience in the resources sector are required to undergo Standard 11 induction. The program provides newcomers with a pathway to enter the Mining Industry In Australia.

The Wotonga & Lake Lofty induction is for all personnel entering these properties for work on their lease. On successful completion, the participant will be issued a card that is to be in their possession for inspection at all times when working on the Wotonga or Lake Lofty properties.
