MODULE 6 – The sixth and last course to be completed as part of the TAE40122 Certificate IV Training and Assessment qualification

Course Structure: 30-Day Virtual Delivery – Consisting of six (6) 5 day Modules.  The course is delivered using a Layered approach which helps students develop a robust skill set, from basic to advanced competencies, while also emphasizing hands-on learning and real-world application.

Sharp 5’s Virtual Delivery method offers the most comprehensive approach to completing the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This delivery method consists of online interactive workshops, providing flexibility and depth in skill development.

The course consists of six (6) 5-day modules. Participants can choose to attend these workshops consecutively or space them out to suit their personal schedules.

You can attend the 30-day program via:

  • Online virtual classroom, accessible from the comfort of your home or office.  All participants log into the virtual classroom to collaborate seamlessly under the guidance of their trainer.

    • All modules are attended virtually.
    • There is a requirement as part of the qualification to complete face-to-face delivery to live participants, which can be completed virtually or at a Sharp5 premises if required.

    Following the workshops, learners’ complete knowledge questions and remaining practical work independently.

Critical Information for Presentations

A key requirement of the TAE40122 qualification is delivering five (5) face-to-face training sessions to live participants:

  • Three (3) group sessions with at least four (4) learners present.
  • Two (2) individual sessions with at least one (1) learner.

Options for Completing Face-to-Face Presentations:

  1. Attend presentation days at a Sharp5 premises.
  2. Record each session and provide the recordings to Sharp 5 for assessment

Before commencement of each course, the trainer will assess participants language, literacy and numeracy levels.  This will help trainers identify learners who need assistance and support and at the same time the suitability and appropriateness to enrol and complete a course.

The Standard 11 Surface and Underground refresher program is delivered by experienced facilitators via interactive scenarios and group-based activities. The group-based scenarios will give participants a realistic insight into the requirements for working within the Queensland Coal Mining Industry.
S123 Mine Supervisor Course at Brisbane
This G189 Mine Supervisor course is mandatory for all Supervisors in the mining industry. It meets the fundamental requirements of a Mine Supervisor in the Resources Industry as per s.56 of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 and s.51 of the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for RIIRIS301E - Apply Risk Management Processes, RIIWHS301E - Conduct Safety and Health Investigations, and RIICOM301E - Communicate Information.
