This Certificate IV in Training & Assessment refresher/ upgrade qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
Before commencement of each course, the trainer will assess participants language, literacy and numeracy levels. This will help trainers identify learners who need assistance and support and at the same time the suitability and appropriateness to enrol and complete a course.

Those entering this program must be able to demonstrate vocational competency in their proposed teaching and assessing area. Vocational competency is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may include, but is not limited to holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification.

This is a nationally accredited training program. Upon successful completion of units of competency, participants will receive a nationally recognised Qualification for TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (if all 10 units are complete) or a Statement of Attainment issued by Sharp 5 RTO#40478.
