The currency verification program is designed for participants currently working in the mining sector that have previously completed RIISS00034 Surface Coal Mine Safety Skill Set (Standard 11 Surface) and are seeking to have their industry currency verified.
An updated qualification in RIISS00034 Surface Coal Mine Safety Skill Set.
Once you have enrolled you will be required to email the evidence listed below to:Â Â admin@sharp5.com.au
- Current RIISS00034 Surface Coal Mine Safety Skill Set (Standard 11 Surface) Statement of Attainment
- Training transcript from the most recent mine site you have worked on in the past 2 years; or
- Third-Party letter of support from your current employer or recent supervisor
You will be required to submit a colour copy of your previous “Statement of Attainment” for Standard 11 listing all 6 units of competency. Statements must be issued by a registered RTO and equivalent to the current units of competency. Failure to provide this evidence may delay your certification.
You will also be required to provide evidence proving you have applied your skills within the infrastructure and mining sectors within the past 12 months.

- RIIWHS201E: Work safely and follow OHS policies and procedures

- RIIERR205D: Apply initial response first aid
- RIIERR302E: Respond to local emergencies and incidents
