Standard 11 Combined Program (Surface and Underground)

The purpose of this program is to introduce new and existing mine workers to the recognised Standard 11 Mining Induction requirements. This Standard 11 Mining Induction course is compromised of six (mandatory) units of competency for Surface and seven units for Surface and Underground.

This is a nationally accredited mining induction course. Upon successful completion of the program participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for:

RIIGOV201E | Comply with site work processes/procedures
RIIWHS201E | Work safely and follow WHS policies and procedures
RIIRIS201E | Conduct local risk control
RIIERR205D | Apply initial response first aid
RIIERR302E | Respond to local emergencies and incidents
RIIERR203E | Escape from hazardous situations unaided

• Cost of course?Standard 11 $610 Mackay only, Working at Heights $185 in Mackay and $275 in Moranbah, ECS $200 in Mackay and $275 in Moranbah.
• Duration of course?Standard 11 x 2 days Surface, Working at Heights x 1 day, ECS x 1 day.
• How often do you run the course?Standard 11 every Monday – Tuesday in Mackay, Working at Heights every Monday in Mackay and every Wednesday in Moranbah, ECS every Tuesday in Mackay and every Thursday in Moranbah.
• Location and address of the training?Mackay office 1/42 East Gordon Street and Moranbah office 27 Bacon Street, Standard 11 is a general site induction, may not include BMA sites.
• Does this competency expire?Standard 11, Working at Heights & ECS typically require 5 year refresher.
• Does ECS include Gas Test Atmosphere?Yes.
