TARGET AUDIENCE
This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to enter and work in confined spaces in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles undertaking work in confined spaces
 
APPLICATION
This unit specifies the competency required to undertake safe working practices when working in a confined space. This unit is appropriate for those working in an operational role at worksites within:

• Civil construction
• Coal mining
• Drilling
• Extractive industries
• Metalliferous mining

 
OUTCOMES
This is a nationally accredited training program. Upon successful completion of the program participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for RIIWHS202D Enter and Work in Confined Spaces & MSMWHS217 Gas test atmospheres

DURATION
1 x 8 hour day
