TAE Design Cluster enables you to gain the skills to assist in developing learning programs in the vocational education sector including the ability to analyse and unpack training packages and or units of competency to design programs to suit your clients/workplace needs.
This unit is about the skills and knowledge needed to conceptualise, design, develop and review learning programs to meet an identified need for a group of learners. It will cover the skills and knowledge needed to identify the parameters of a learning program, determine its design, outline the content and review its effectiveness.
Before commencement of each course, the trainer will assess participants language, literacy and numeracy levels. This will help trainers identify learners who need assistance and support and at the same time the suitability and appropriateness to enrol and complete a course.
