This In Field Workplace Trainer and Assessor qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment. It is suitable for trainers and assessors’ services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. The units of competency covered are TAEASS402 Assess competence and TAEDEL301 Provide work skill instruction.
This qualification (or the skill sets derived from units of competency within it) is also suitable preparation for those engaged in the delivery of training and assessment of competence in a workplace context, as a component of a structured VET program. Face to Face Workshops (2 days) plus practical assessment conducted in either a workplace or simulated environment.
For private employer bookings, an additional day can be added to complete workplace assessments if students have access to internal workplace assessment tools.
