TARGET AUDIENCE
This program applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response.
 
APPLICATION
These skills and knowledge may be applied in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Training Package users should ensure implementation is consistent with any specific workplace and/or relevant legislative requirements in relation to first aid, including State/Territory requirements for currency.
Application of these skills and knowledge should be contextualised as required to address specific industry, enterprise or workplace requirements and to address specific risks, hazards and associated injuries.

NB: This program is an upgrade from RIIRIS301D Apply the Risk Management Process (S1) and evidence of this must be provided prior to training.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This unit of competency covers working safely at heights in the resources and infrastructure industries.  The program enables students to not only understand and instigate safe working at heights procedures, but also to participate in a rescue from heights and perform a self-rescue. Sharp Training is one of a selected few training organisations in Australia that offer this added rescue training as a standard to their Safe Work at Heights course.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This unit is suitable for people working within the rail industry and or those who are required to access the rail corridor under supervision in accordance with access provider, legislative and regulatory requirements
 
APPLICATION
The program provides participants with appropriate skill and knowledge needed to fulfil the legislated rail safety requirements including Queensland acts and regulations together with nationally approved compliance codes and/or guidelines.
 
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This program involves the application of access provider rules, procedures and protocols for rail safety. All activities are performed under established rules and procedures.
 
The program will include a practical observation and demonstration at an actual Rail Corridor (where practical) otherwise a simulated scenario is utilised.
 
The program includes key elements of learning such as;
 
  • Taking appropriate safety precautions to access the rail corridor
  • Taking appropriate safety precautions to access the danger zone
  • Taking appropriate action in an emergency situation
